This gardener's guide to annual flowers includes 106 plant descriptions plus 186 color photos. A comparison chart makes it easy to choose plants by height or flower color. Recommendations also are given for specific uses, such as drought tolerance, fragrance, and cut-flower bouquets.

The Weed Identification Field Guide, 2nd Edition, is a revised and expanded pocket-sized guide (3-3/4" x 6") for farmers and agronomists to use for weed identification in Iowa corn and soybean fields. The 2nd edition includes four new weed species, many new images, and updated text.

The 108 page booklet includes tools to aid in accurate weed identification as well as weed lifecycle and herbicide management and stewardship information. It includes over 35 illustrations and more than 250 high-quality photographs of weeds found in Iowa.

Field Crop Insects contains descriptions and color images of more than 55 pest and beneficial insects, as well as information on insect life cycle, damage, scouting and management options. There is also information on basic entomology and integrated pest management tactics.

Soybean cyst nematode is the most economically significant pest of soybeans in Iowa and has been found in 98 of the 99 Iowa counties. Infested soybean plants often show no symptoms other than reduced yield. The 62-page field guide is designed as a resource for agronomists and farmers to manage soybean cyst nematode.

Color photos and descriptions aid in identifying nutrient deficiencies and injury due to fertilizer in order to accurately diagnose symptoms for corn, soybeans, alfalfa, and winter wheat.
