Understanding Fish Feed Labels

Policies are implemented at the national level, in cooperation with state and local partners, to regulate fish feed. Adequate feed labeling is a requisite for commercialization as feed manufacturers must make sure their product complies with regulations, but also serves as a guideline for the fish farmer.
