Category Eleven, Aerial Application -- Iowa Commercial Pesticide Applicator Manual

This manual will help prepare aerial applicators and aerial applicator consultants planning to become certified in commercial pesticide applicator Category 11, Aerial Application.

This category manual supplements information in the Iowa Core Manual, CS 0445, and should not be used for certification preparation without referring to that manual.

The Category 11 exam covers material from this manual as well as material from:

CS 0445 - Core Manual

CS 0009 - Category 1A, Agricultural Weed Management

CS 0010 - Category 1B, Agricultural Insect Management

CS 0011 - Category 1C, Agricultural Crop Disease Management

The accompanying new certification examination will be available starting September 1, 2021, at testing locations currently approved by the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship. Until that time, the current exam will continue to use material covered in the previous version of this certification manual.
