This K-3 one-day program is designed for 4-H professionals or volunteers to utilize, plan, and implement a chemistry-themed, day-long event for children in kindergarten through third grade. Facilitation is geared toward 4-H professionals, project area leaders, club leaders, or other 4-H volunteers and partners.

Come and explore the wonders of science by creating amazing chemistry experiments with everyday materials to watch them fizz, bubble, and goo. Youth will learn about matter and its three states, make slime, and observe chemical and physical changes before their very eyes!

Youth-serving organizations in Iowa are encouraged to contact their local Iowa State University Extension and Outreach county office to explore partnership opportunities in administering this program.
