Health Considerations for Confined Cow-Calf Operations

Confined cow-calf operations are becoming more common as Midwestern cattle producers adjust to increased land costs and a decreasing forage base. As these operations grow, management and health practices will need to be adjusted to minimize effects of increased cattle density.
