Circuit Roleplaying -- Vibrant Clubs

Have you ever wondered how your room light turns on, or the fan starts spinning? So many of our household appliances are powered by electricity. Electricity flows from positive (high) to negative (low) through pathways called circuits. Materials that electricity can flow through are called conductors, such as salt, metal, or even people. Materials are insulators if electricity can’t travel through them, such as the plastic coating covering wires or thick rubber gloves technicians wear to protect themselves when repairing power lines. You will build a circuit to turn on a light in this activity!
